ModernFillRx operates in compliance with applicable federal regulations, LegitScript certification standards, and New York State pharmacy laws. Due to the regulated nature of prescription medications, all sales policies prioritize patient safety, medication integrity, and legal compliance.
Prescription Medications
In accordance with federal law and New York State Board of Pharmacy regulations, prescription medications that have been dispensed cannot be returned, resold, or refunded. This policy ensures the safety, efficacy, and integrity of medications once they leave the control of the dispensing pharmacy. This includes, but is not limited to, temperature-sensitive medications and controlled substances.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only prior to clinical review by a licensed healthcare provider and before transmission to the dispensing pharmacy. Once a prescription has been issued or the order has entered the fulfillment process, cancellation is no longer permitted.
Physician Consultation Fees
Fees associated with medical evaluations, telehealth consultations, and clinical reviews are non-refundable. These fees represent professional services rendered by licensed healthcare providers, regardless of whether a prescription is ultimately issued.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a medication that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@modernfillrx.com. We will investigate the issue in coordination with our licensed pharmacy partner and provide a resolution in accordance with regulatory guidelines, which may include replacement where appropriate.
Shipping & Delivery
ModernFillRx is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. However, in cases of confirmed lost shipments, we will assist in coordinating a resolution with the carrier and pharmacy partner in accordance with applicable regulations.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may only be issued under the following circumstances: (1) order cancellation prior to physician review and pharmacy processing; (2) verified dispensing or fulfillment error; or (3) other limited exceptions as required by law or approved at our sole discretion in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
